connection error

Hello, I know this has been mentioned on the forum before but no tips seem to have worked for me so far. The connection error keeps reappearing when I am trying to authorise my computer in order to open a protected acsm file. I tried changing time settings as well as downloading older versions of ADE - with no success. It opens non protected sample books offered on Adobe website. No luck authorising the computer though. Any ideas how to sort it out? Thank you in advance for your advice.

    I have been solved this problem: (1) desabilited firewall from windows; (2) installed adobe digital edition version 2.0 (Adobe Digital Editions downloads); (3) authorized my computer, with mu adobe ID and password; (4) after, installed adobe digital edition version 4.0 (Download | Adobe Digital Editions). And I finally get to open my epub.
