Connection Error

Recently I just download Adobe Digital Edition 4.5.4 on my Windows 8 laptop. But when I try to authorise it, it will not let me do so and keep showing connection error. It shows the same error when I choose not to authorise it. I have tried the 'registry' step found on forum but the problem still exist. Any solution?
