Connection Error - Adobe Digital Editions - IOS iPad

I've had Adobe Digital Editions on my iPad for years, and all of a sudden it's stopped working properly. I can only read a few pages of my ebooks then the pages fade out,  I tried deleting the app, and reinstalling. That's when one of my eBooks disappeared and I get a Connection Error - make sure you are connected to the internet.  I tried de-authorising and re-authorising.  Nothing has worked.  My eBooks don't appear as full pictures, only half sized. I'm thinking there is a problem connecting with Abobe.

    Hello, same problem and it seems other have that issue too.

    It also looks like nobody from Adobe helps or is interested, and support center just sends off to the help-yourself community.... crazy

    I'm also having this issue. When I try open an ebook download it says "Connection Error Detected: Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet" I am definitely connected to the internet. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.... Any suggestions welcomed!!

    I just fixed the problem - mostly anyway.  I downloaded ADE v 4.5 for Windows 10 to my PC, which works even though I have it on my iPad as well. Then I authorised with my password. All my books appeared and I can read them!  Yay!
