Yes, I am connected... how else could I write this?

Adobe chat doesn't help. Adobe Tech doesn't help!

I purchased a book and I want to read it!!!  HELP!

Also, since this is the first book I have downloaded there is not "de-authorize" option.

Thanks.

I am also having this error. I uninstalled 4, installed 3 and nothing. I upgraded to 4 and still it tells me to make sure I'm connected to the internet.  I was actually using an older version (2.something) before upgrading to 4.  Trying to download a book from the library I rec'd the message the I wasn't connected.  I unauthorized my pc and when I went to re-authorize, adobe reader is unable to connect for authorization.

I am not a tech... I just posted what worked for me. I authorized my computer while in DE 3.0 and added the book while in 3.0 then upgraded to 4.0

    Good Luck.

Thanks, designerJT.  I uninstalled 4 and installed 3 and it let me authorize my devices. I haven't bothered to upgrade back up to 4, since it's working now.
