Connection Error Detected

I downloaded the newest version of Adobe Digital Editions on my iPhone. After authorizing it and logging in with my adobe id and password, I can see the books that I borrowed from my library. The problem is that I am unable to open them. I get an error when I click on any book to open. "Connection Error Detected. Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet." I tried with the iPad and I get the same error. On a windows computer, using Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.6, I can open the books and there are no problems. This problem started about a year ago. I searched for a solution everywhere and I am not able to find any. Please help!

I am also very curious to know if this is only happening with me, or does the ios app not work with everyone?
