Connection Error Detected

Having issues with ADE on my Mac. When I try open an ebook download it says "Connection Error Detected: Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet" I am definitely connected to the internet. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.... Any suggestions welcomed!!

      I had the same issue since October. I couldn't download library books. Found out it was an expired Certificate Authority. Hope this helps you.

        Oh my goodness!!! The software update didn't work but the certificate download did!!! Thank you SO MUCH!!!!!!
