Copying text to my term papers. Ctrl+C doesn't work. Help!!

I have Adobe Digital Reader 4.5.1 (Windows 10) and I can't copy text to my term papers. Ctrl+C doesn't work. This makes my books useless to me. Help is desperately needed.

    Have you check the permission of the eBook? (Right Click on the eBook, and check Media-Info)
