Deactivating device with a user ID that is terminated

I am trying to deauthorize my computer on my adobe digital editions so that I can authorize the computer under my active user ID. When I hit control+shift+d a screen pops up and requests my password for the ID that is no longer an adobe ID, so I'm stuck.
