Deauthorize and reauthorize

My wife and I recently bought a new MAC. We had our account authorized to our old MAC. We deauthorized the old MAC and tried to authorize the new MAC. But was coming up saying we could not use an account that was associated with another computer. We went through to the users/library/ and delete authorization on the old MAC but when we try to authorize the new one it comes up with our message saying cannot authorize account associated with another computer. Please help thank you.
