Deleting my account and adobe id

Question

I want to delete my account and adobe id.  Driving me insane that NOT ONE PERSON can explain it properly for a mac.  Adobe---PLEASE let me know what I need to go to get rid of my digital reader account.  I have two authorized and I can't get any books.  Terrible that it isn't EASIER for users.

I have the same question only for a PC, not a Mac. I have 2 accounts and want to delete one. Any ideas?
