Digital Edition

Question

I just downloaded Digital Edition so I can get eBooks from the library to read on my Nook HD+.  Downloaded DE to my computer, but when it comes up I get an error message from Windows that says DE is experiencing a problem and must close.  Can't get anywhere. I have Windows XP....always a problem, but it's what I got!

ADE2.0 doesn't work properly on XP; even worse than it behaves on anything else.

There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0. Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.

(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)

Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.
