Digital edition crash

When I download books the digital edition and then delete them, it crashes and the books are not deleted. Then when I go to transfer the book to the iBook to download my nook, the books will not download. Every time I go to open the book it says "The book is corrupt". I tried to delete the program and re-download the book adobe Digital edition, it still did not work.
