Digital Edition problems

I am suddenly having problems dowloading my E-books from my library through Digital Editions. The error messages are either "too many activations" or "copy not allowed". Overdrive is the software that my library uses for downloads and their support advises me that I need to have my Adobe ID reset. I requested this at your online chat support and they said I should contact the forums. Please reset my ID or do whatever you need to do to correct these errors. I have already tried uninstalling and re-installing the software and erasing the authorization and re-authorizing.
