Digital Editions

Question

I have had Digital Edition 2.0 running for 14 months. Last Wednesday I tried to download a book and nothing happened. I called my computer whiz ($100.00 worth) who scratched his head and recommended removing the Edition and reinstalling it.

I have downloaded Digital Edition 2.0.1 and 3.0 several times after trying different things. My computer whiz could not make it work either. The program downloads fine but my computer does not recognize the download and trying anything locks the program up. I really need this program back, Any help will be appreciated. What do I need to do to download either one and get my computer to recognise the program.??

I hope you have picked the ADE installer from Adobe's website. In case you did not, You can pick the 2.0.1 and 3.0 installer from http://www.adobe.com/support/digitaleditions/downloads.html and http://www.adobe.com/products/digital-editions/download.html respectively.
