i have installed digital editiions and have an error message to "check activation".  How do i do this?

    I de-authorized my computer (You can authorize and de-authorize by selecting HELP at the top left corner in the ADE.) and uninstalled Adobe Digital Editions so I could start with a clean slate, so to speak.  I then re-installed ADE and re-reauthorized my computer.  I went to the eBook and selected DOWNLOAD.  ADE popped up and downloaded my book. FINALLY. ugh
