digital editions and nook color

I bought a new comuter authorized digital editions without an adobe id then tried to sign in to authorize and got this error; You can only authorize this computer with adobe id that hasen't been previously used to authorize any other computer or moble device....Can i just creat a new adobe id or is there a way to get past this on new computer so i can get ebooks from library on my nook color?
