Digital Editions "Corrupt Package" message

I had digital editions on my computer and a few days ago I tried opening it and it told me to upgrade. So I tried upgrading and in the process it told me I needed to uninstall the original I had on my computer. So I did and now when I try to download it, a message pops up saying "Corrupt package digitaleditions_winzip" or something like that. Can anyone please help me??? I need to have access to my ebooks for my college courses. Thanks

    hi tonya:

    try the standalone installer -- i got the same error but it installed just fine when i found the standalone .exe file.
