Digital Editions Download Failure

I am trying to download the Windows version of Adobe Digital editions 2.1 for my Nook. The first download box completes successfully, but the second stops about halway through. No error message is thrown. Why is the installation failing? I even tried installing from my desktop, but received the same results.
