Digital Editions error message

Hello: I'm trying download adobe digital and keep getting a message, "there is no disk in the drive."please insert a disk into drive\device\harddisk8\dr8", when I open the downloaded & executed adobe digital editions 4.0.  I have tried removing the program and starting over several times with same results.  I've also tried a different version.  Haven't been able to get any help from chat or tweet; anyone know what i need to do?
