DIGITAL EDITIONS error messages! Is not performing as expected

After downloading it three times, your Adobe Digital Editions I had the error message "USER NOT ACTIVATED" on my NOOK eReader which I've been using for more than 5 years to download books from my library and since I downloaded your new ADE app is not performing as expected and is unacceptable that is forcing me to choose a KINDLE instead, and just because Adobe is interfering in my reading process.

And when I tried to AUTHORIZE my new computer and new ERROR MESSAGE: “You can only authorize this computer with an ADOBE ID that hasn’t been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile device. Pease, try again. “

Can you resolve it? Please?

I’m using a PC with WINDOWS 10
