Digital Editions Installation Challenges

I have attempted to install Adobe Digital Editions using all approaches suggested by the website and continually get an error when attempting to install the program.  I have a system of appropriate capabilities and have attempted using both Explorer and Mozilla Firefox to download the program.  Does anyone have any suggestions.

    What have you tried so far? I'm working through my first deployment in my company so I'm no expert but I'm already wondering the below:

    Which installer are you using? Are you using the offline installer?

    Are you behind a proxy?

    Does the installer even download?

    if so, what happens when you run it? Do you get any errors?

    Which OS are you using? Does the account used to download/install have admin rights?
