digital editions keeps closing

Hi,

Today, every time I open digital editions 2.0 everything is grayed out. Then I get the message "digital editions has to close, sorry for any inconvenience". Doesn't give any reason and nothing shows in Event Viewer. I have Windows XP SP3.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated.

    There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0.  Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.

    Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.
