Digital Editions not recognizing Kobo Clara

Hi all,

I am having trouble transferring my ebooks to my reader as DE doesn't pick up my Kobo Clara- Though it is showing up on My Computer (I am using a chromebook btw).

 

Things I have tried, with no luck:

- uninstalled and reinstalled DE what feels like a million times

- restored factory settings on my Kobo

- tried to find an older version of DE on the Play Store to no avail

- spoke to someone over chat. Sorry Nisha, I'm sure you're a lovely person, but you were no help whatsoever

- cried profusely.

    These instructions are for Mac, but hopefully you can find the equivalent for your Chromebook:

    Go to Mac - System Settings - Privacy & Security - Files and Folders - Adobe Digital Editions and switch on the Removable Volumes option
