Digital editions stops working during install

I download Digital Editions and during the install I get the message "Adobe Digital Editions has stopped working".

I'm running the latest version of WIndows 10 (just bought new laptop today).

I've tried downloading the file on both MS Edge and Chrome but no luck. I just can't get any further than the error message.

Can anyone help?
