Digital Editions to Kobo - can only see 4 pages

I have downloaded books from CloudLibrary and can view them on my computer through ADE. When I transfer them to my Kobo Clara I can open them, but  can only scroll through the first 4 pages before it freezes. I tried multiple downloaded ebooks and it happens specifically on the "content" page. 

Kobo tried to trouble shoot but since I can open kobo purchased books, it seems to be a transfer issue between ADE and Kobo. Any suggestions?
