Digital Editions won't complete the book download

I downloaded and install Adobe Digital Editions, I have a copy of the .acsm file and I authorized my computer but when it tries to download the book it fills the entire loading bar and just never finishes the download. I've tried multiple times, I deactivated/reactivated.
