Display problems on Android

I've got a fixed-layout epub that displays without problems on my iMac and MacBook Air, using either of ADE or Apple Books. But when I test on a Samsung Android tablet, ADE screws up. Many of the images are only partially rendered, making the book unusable.

Are there documented limitations that might explain what I'm experiencing?
