This is the worst program I have ever seen from Adobe. It does not deserve to be own or have Adobe's name associated with it in anyway. It provies zero to little function and is the WORST ereader program I have ever used. It is not user friendly. Digital Editions is more of a hinderance than help. I would never recommend this to any one even if I was paid to. Digital Editions provide very little functino other than taking up space.

I was recently told by an associate at Adobe Support that the company no
longer offers support for Digital Editions because it's free software!

I agree with you that the software is a disaster. It didn't use to be. I
employed it for years to download books from the local library to read on
my Kobo. Then, it suddenly stopped working.

On the community site I found the following advice and I followed it and it
worked - once. Then it didn't, even though I repeated the process,

Lucky for me, our library has moved to an Overdrive platform, which makes
it possible to download directly to my reader, bypassing my laptop and
Adobe Digital Editions all together.

I'm having the same problem with ADE.  The problem of ''Loan token not found'' just started.  So, I should call my library and see if they've started using a different program??  This is so frustrating! 😕😕
