Does Adobe Digital Editions work with Acrobat X Standard?

I'm attempting to download an eBook that's part of an Overdrive audiobook I borrowed from my county library using the Windows version of the Libby app. Overdrive Support has recommended that I install Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) on my laptop, which already has Acrobat X Standard installed. I've confirmed that my laptop meets ADE's system requirements as suggested by Overdrive. Should I expect any issues if I proceed with installing Adobe Digital Editions on a laptop where Acrobat X Standard is already installed?
