Download a book to Adobe digital editions

I have downloaded the book to one iPad . Now I can't download it to the other iPad. I have a file of the book and it's supposed to load onto Adobe digital editions.

 I connected to chat, and I got a representative from the billing department. There seems to be no information on this on the web.
