Downloading Adobe Ebook pdf files crashes Adobe Digital Editions

Hi!
Have tried from two sources buying and downloading Adobe e-books and each time when I download them, Adobe Digital Editions starts up and then it just crashes without finalizing the book. When I then reopen the ADE again the book title is there, but with no author name or any other info, and I can't open it or transfer it to my PRS-505. Has anyone else had this problem and/or know what could be wrong. I just downloaded and installed the new 1.5 version of ADE so it seems that likely is not the problem.

    ...well I guess it was something wrong with my computer that caused this, had problems with my firewall/virus program also and when I got that fixed then the book download worked as it should also.
