Downloading from Adobe Digital Editions to KOBO

Have downloaded ADE to my new Windows 10 computer. Have correct vendor ID (my email address) and new password. When trying to download to KOBO the error message is "No Permission to copy the Book" As I can still do so on my old computer I wonder if it is not possible to have ADE on more than one computer, both using the same email address as ID, but with different passwords
