downloading from pc to eReader

I have borrowed a book from the library.  It is showing on my pc, but when I try to drag it onto my eReader, I get a message saying that I have no permission to borrow this book.  I suspect that the eReader is not authenticated with ADE, but I'm not sure how to do this.  My computer has been authenticated.

    I had the same experience, and tried to authorize my computer.  I entered all the information, and noW I get the message THE VENDOR ACCOUNT YOU ENTERED IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH THE ITEM YOU RE TRYING TO OPEN.??
