Downloading library books to Kobo

Ok - now that this is the third time I've typed my question, hopefully this works.

I am trying to download library books to my Kobo, which I've done a lot of times before.  Now I'm getting an error message that says that the document is "protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management" and asks me to sign-in with an authorized Adobe ID.  I have signed in with my authorized Adobe ID, logged out and signed in again a couple of times to no avail.  I've returned the book and re-signed it out, again, to no avail.  Any suggestions on how to fix this?
