Downloading library books to my Kobo ?

I have been downloading library books for 2-3 years very successfully.  I got a notice that said "Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server.   Please make sure you are connected to the internet."  I am connected to the internet and have taken this problem to the library.  They were unable to help me download the books.  It will go to my browser but not to my Kobo.  Vista is my operating system.  Could that suddenly be the problem?  Any suggestions?

    I contacted Kobo today because of this. the recent update broke this ability to download Overdrive library books. Thye are working on it with no ETA for a fix.

    Thanks.  I have been to two libraries and both gave up in frustration.  Will wait and see if this problem gets resolved.
