DRM book in Overdrive won't download. Can I move it to another app?

I purchased a study guide for a certification exam in November. It's DRM-protected. I downloaded it in the Overdrive app since I already had that for library books. It's in the Overdrive library but the files don't download. I followed the Overdrive instructions to delete cookies, uninstall/reinstall app, etc. Still having the same problem. Since I technically used Overdrive to download the book, I get an error message saying it's already been downloaded when I try to open it in a different app. Is there a workaround to solve this? Thanks.
