E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS - Help needed

Question

Hello Community,

I recieved the above error a couple of days ago.

I use ADE on 3 different devices.

I regularly wipe Windows and install it from scratch on each.

So far I never bothered about de-authorizing ADE.

Always worked.

Now I get this error.

I chatted to Adobe support and they asked me to kindly ask here.

What should I do?

Hello Community and all who 'click past',

You are not asked to do anything here.

If you recieve the above error, get back to support and ask them to "Reset your activations"!

I did that and they reset them.

Hello All,I already looked through the solutions offered here:Applying could only be: 'De-authorize' devices.I cannot 'de-authorize' any device at the moment, because all 3 are freshly installed. 2 are working fine. But the 3rd one throws the error.It says that you are allowed to use 6 separate devices with ADE... Do not know why the error is displayed, really. Adobe support asked me to get back to this forum.Please, help!Thank you.
