E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_TYPE _UNKNOWN: from Google Play

I cannot open a file I purchased from Google Play. After getting the .acsm file and open it, I get the error shown in the subject. The .acsm file is shown below: note that I am able to read the book from within Google Play, and that if I try to open the file from another computer I get an error "limit reached" or something like this, which makes sense. Google says it's not their fault. What should I do? (My computer runs Windows 10 and I have just re-installed ADE 4.5.6 from scratch)

Try this:
Start Digital Edtion.
Download the eBook file form Google Play to your Desktop.
Then go in Digital Edition.

Check if your Digital Edition autorize with the right adobe ID.
Go to File > Add to library.
Choose the download file and click on open.
If no securty softare blocked the download eBook should open form download server.

Trouble is, that I am authorized for this file; but when I try to add the file to my library I get this error.
