E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER

My old computer died and when I reloaded ADE on my new computer and tried to download my books again from Kobo I go the above error. I contacted Kobo as instructed they reset my activations on the books but still same result. Kobo suggested I create another id which I tried and no luck with that either. I may have 1st down loaded these books without an adobe id. Is there a way to fix this??
