E_LIC_ALREADY_RETURNED?

My son got this ebook from our public library. When wanting to continue reading it, he must have inadvertedly have clicked the button for returning the book. When I re-downloaded the URLLink.acsm from the library and tried to re-load the book I got a message saying: E_LIC_ALREADY_RETURNED. What am I supposed to do now? It seems as though ADE knows the book is already returned but the library doesn't... Any ideas on how to deal with that?
