E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR HELP!

hey everyone,

I've bought an ebook from Avid and it said I should download Adobe Digital Editions and open my ACSM ebook there. I'm getting this error when I try to open it. It's happening both on my Mac and my iOS app. I tried to contact both Adobe and Avid and neither of them could help me with this error. Does anyone know what's happening and what I should do to fix it?

Me too, since yesterday. Have uninstalled, deregistered, restarted computer, upgraded MacOS, using latest ADE version, tried a different library, date and time are correct. How do we fix this???? Very annoying Adobe. I want to read my books!

I've been talking to Avid since yesterday. I spoke to them again today. They are fixing it.

Hi, Exactly the same issue here. have 2 ACSM file from Avid (101 and 101 Pro Tools books). I've tried everything suggested (de-authorising-reauthorsing, updating ADE, clearing cache, trying a different browser, waiting and trying a numbe of hours/days) and Adobe support sent me here, but there is no response/answer from Adobe here. Very annoying.

Same problem for past 2 days. Followed all suggestions de-authorise/re-authorise, delete activation.dat file, unistall/re-install. last worked on Nov 11

I'm having the same issue. Getting this error. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, clearing cache, etc.

The same thing happened to me yesterday. Avid told me to contact Adobe support and Adobe support told me to go to this forum. This is crazy!
