E-reader authorization

How do I use my adobe ID to authorize my KOBO e-reader?  I have borrowed a book from my local library and I keep getting the message that the content is locked.  Please note that I have confirmed my Adobe Digital Editions authorization is in effect.

    Adobe has fixed the drm, you should try using a latest version such as DL Reader

    One thing, you can have only 5 to 6 devices/machines/activations only. Not more than that.
