eBook download on Kobo

I was given an ebook through the web; I downloaded it on my pc with Calibre and then I spent on my Kobo but when I go to open it tells me that the file is protected with Adobe DRM and can not be used with the current Adobe ID.

Perhaps I used an old account instead of the new that I'm using now. it is possible to unify the two accounts?

Can I recover the book to use it on my Kobo?
