Employer bought EBook to share with me, but error message pops up when I try open it.

Good morning. My employer bought an ebook online. He shared the link for the ebook with me. When I download and open it on Adobe Digital, it gives me an error message. I am a content developer for a curriculum, so I did create me own Adobe ID to view the ebook. This is the error message: E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED
