Have an Acer Iconia A510 android tablet and cannot download acsm files to Alkido reader app although the device is activated by adobe. Have been through their chat but an absolute waste of an hour - any help here

Try the Bluefire reader app and see if that behaves any better.

Digital Editions sometimes gets confused semi-registration/activation; where it shows registered but isn't really, and gives lots of spurious error messages.

That can be resolved by completely deactiviating, then activating again.

I don't know if that will help on Aldiko, but worth a try.
