Epub won't show up in my library on my iPad. How can I get the libraries to sync?

I am using version 4 on both my iMac and iPad. I have authorized both. I added the pub doc to my ADE library on my iMac, but it won't show up on the iPad's ADE library.

In fact ADE on the iPad gives you no way to add content except refresh.

Does anybody know how to make this work?
