Erase old Adobe Digital Editions authorization

I need to erase and old authorization with an email that is no longer working.  It has been compromised.  But I do not remember my password so when i say "erase" it prompts you for a password.  How do I get it to erase when I do not know the password?

Please Help!  My Adobe is rendered useless currently.

Thanks for the non-help.  Going through Adobe Chat and through the forums with NO HELP!  I figured it out for future reference for myself and anyone else who is having trouble with authorization. 

CTRL + SHIFT + D = Deauthorizes the adobe ID without needing a password.  Then you can reset on your own.  Worked like a charm.
