Error 2004

My overdrive app kept freezing so i deleted it and downloaded it again. When I tried to sign in with my adobe id, I get an error message 2004 saying too many activations and contact adobe to reset account. I've already read other forums and tried what they said and none of it has worked. I tried chatting with someone to get this solved and they were NO help. Can someone please help???
