Error authorizing Adobe Digital Editions with Adobe ID

Once you install and launch Adobe Digital Editions, authorize it by entering your Adobe ID and password. This step will allow you to use your eBooks on multiple devices and will ensure that you can regain access to them in the event of data loss.

To manually authorize your Adobe ID, click Help -> Authorize Computer in the toolbar.

Followed all these steps, however, I keep getting error message.

Hello. I want to authorize my computer. The programm is asking for Adobe ID. Where do I find such ID? Thank you.

Did find the solution to my problem - changed password to letters and numbers only, and no more than required!! Perfect. But I would have expected more from a company like Adobe.....shame!

Hi, I've just downloaded and installed Adobe Digital Editions.....I have the same problem! I am not able to authorize with my Adobe ID, says in red " incorrect ID or password blabla.........wtf?! What to do now?? Searched the web without solutions....
