how to overcome the error check activation message even though the computer is authorized?

I think I have the same issue. When I sign in, it states

"An Error Has Been Detected

Connection Error

Digital Editions could not connect to the activation server. Please make sure you are connected to the Internet."

Were you able to get it resolved?
